The Baofeng UV-5R is a compact dual-band radio operating in the VHF and UHF bands. It can easily tune into shared frequencies in both bands, marine frequencies, repeaters, PMR channels, and more. This radio is compatible with headsets and PTT buttons with a Kenwood 2-pin connector.The Baofeng UV-5R operates in the VHF band with a frequency range of 136-174 MHz and the UHF band with a range of 400-520 MHz. This makes it ideal for a wide range of uses including amateur radio, airsoft games, and other outdoor activities.The dual-band display allows you to monitor two frequencies simultaneously, which is useful for tracking various channels.
